If your particular error is registry-related, a one-time cleaning by a decent-or-better registry cleaning program will restore functionality to the problematic applications and help to keep your computer running smoothly.

Now, depending on how you use your computer, running a registry cleaner on a semi-regular basis is a recommended part of your PCs maintenance anyway.  However, it is also a good choice if you’re experiencing any of the symptoms that we’ve outlined above.
While a registry cleaning program cannot repair every error that you may encounter on your computer, it is a cheap, and smart, first step when you’re trying to diagnose and fix errors on your PC.
